There is nothing I love more than a big oversized sweater

and a comfy pair of jeans. It is my "go to" for most days. 

Durring the warmer month I stick to the lighter weight 

sweaters and slowly transition into think and chunky ones!

My sister (who obviously has great taste, duh):
"those are cray-say! did you buy a pair for me too?" 
Oh yeah totally, nope.

And there you have it folks.
The reason why women dress for
other women. There, I said it.

 I love taking pieces like this long

chain necklace (that was already in my closet) and making

them into totally new and transitional pieces. Using the

necklace as a belt was such a fun way to add dimension

to the dress!

Can you tell I'm in a Spring state of mind?
And citron is currently rocking my socks off (as evidenced here), which brings me to....The dress!
Don't you just love the texture and richness of this dress? I've had it for so long it's practically
vintage at this point! I strayed from using the original belt and switched it up by adding
 another dimension with the chain! Awesome sauce.

Hope you all had a fabulous time ringing in the new year. I know I did!

The new year has brought some ridonkulously amazing weather

and t-shirts for the last week...woot!

Last week we got a small (like 1 day small) taste of Fall weather. But this weekend it was back to warm temps and I was back to straddling one foot on Fall and one foot on Summer, which was totes cool with me. I could honestly live in big cozy knits and comfy shorts! 

Things have been so busy as of late, that this has become my go to uniform.

Some would say that I have a thing for shoes...ok, maybe it's more than a thing, 

but we don't really need to get into the details now, do we?  Whew! As I like to say, as long as 

one's obsession doesn't harm others (unless of course someone tries to mess with me they will find a stiletto where the sun don't shine..see they serve a dual purpose, beauties and protection!). 

Ok, back to my point...you get me talking about shoes and I have a hard time focusing (typical). 

I'm a huge fan of Brian Atwood's designs and I recently scored these B Brian Atwood

 heels and I have to admit I'm in love. Not only are they are uber chic but they are 

extra comfy. Double score for the win!

Every girl needs a kick ass pair of leopard heels in her repertoire...dontcha think?!

 Just when I thought Fall was going to show it's face we have been hit with a crazy heat wave...no jokes,  it was 91 degrees at 8:30pm last night. Wowzas. Wearing jeans or anything somewhat restricting was def not an option yesterday. A loose maxi and light tank was just what I needed to get through the day and I figured if the sun was bringing the heat I might as well bring the color! 

I was feeling the color blocking a la Gucci RTW S2011 in this get up...
