Knit Crop

Billabong Top  //  American Eagle Skirt  // Celine Shades  //  Sam Edelman Sandals

Fresh off my 36 hour trip to Mexico and I'm still coming down from
it. Nothing better than being in the same place with 20+ of your closest
friends! It was truly a party to say the least. I wore this out one night
and it ended up being one of my faves! It was literally 85 at night with
what felt like 80% humidity, which meant that no one was hot and sweaty
I kid.

Staples

Top  //  American Eagle Shorts  //  Foley + Corinna Bag  //  Sam Edelman Sandals  //  Celine Shades

Well hello there again Monday. The weekend sure went quick, didn't it?!
Donning my favorite shorts (have them in 3 colors) and of course the studded
sandals that I can't take off. Best part? They are on sale! Sa-weet!

Keeping it short and sweet cause I need toothpicks to keep my eyelids open.

Have a good week!

Hand Knit

Shirt: Equipment, Sequin Top: Hand Knitted by Husband's Nana, Shorts: c/o Dolce Vita, Sandals: Sam Edelman, Bracelets: House of Harlow, Stella & Dot, Sunnies: Ray Ban

Remember this sweater? Well, husband's Nana strikes again!
Absolutely obsessed with this little sequin number
she recently gave me...the low back, delicate knit, and iridescent sequins had me at hello.
I seriously need to start taking lessons from the woman...her skills are on point!

Happy Monday y'all!

Color Blocked

Top: Hope & Glorie, Skirt: Olive Olivia, Belt: H&M, Shoes (not shown): Sam Edelman, Necklace: Ralph Lauren, Clutch: Vintage Judith Leiber

Just when I thought Fall was going to show it's face we have been hit with a crazy heat wave...no jokes,  it was 91 degrees at 8:30pm last night. Wowzas. Wearing jeans or anything somewhat restricting was def not an option yesterday. A loose maxi and light tank was just what I needed to get through the day and I figured if the sun was bringing the heat I might as well bring the color!
I was feeling the color blocking a la Gucci RTW S2011 in this get up...

Mom's Belt

Top: Solemio, Jeans: Stella McCartney, Belt: Vintage, Shoes: Sam Edelman, Bag: LV, Bracelet: Flea

I love putting on pieces that have history and always remind you of something every time you put them on.  My mom was (and still is) quite the fashionista when I was a kid. I always remember her wearing this belt with a denim jumpsuit and Laura Bigottti sunglasses. I mean, it doesn't get much better than that when your 8.  It was then I realized I had the coolest mom on the planet and I wanted to wear everything in her closet, especially this belt! The western vibe of the silver buckle and the turquoise stone in the middle just make it such a fun and unique piece. Needless to say I'm stoked on all of the fabulous things I've gotten from her...

P.S. And if the belt wasn't enough, she is also the woman behind the lens.

Romper Room

Romper: Karina Grimaldi, Shoes: Sam Edelman, Bag: Rebecca Taylor, Watch: Gucci, Sunnies: Michael Kors, Necklace: Flea

Had an absolutely lovely weekend that included lots o' shopping, yummy dinners and movies....couldn't have been more perfect!
I hit the mall in this silk romper that I got last season at Intermix and despite the challenges of trying to pee or try things on (let's just say it was an adventure), I'm still smitten with it! And bonus, I have my own personal cooling system in the back...Awesome sauce.

Blended Stripes

Dress: Indah, Cardi: Tory Burch, Sandals: Sam Edelman, Purse: LV, Jewelry: Saks, Angels & Emeralds limited edition Jade piece, Sunnies: Ray Ban

It's obvious by now that I have pretty much parallel parked my rear and moved into Maxi city (didn't I mention yesterday that I was a creature of habit? See here and here. Fo sho). I am totes in love with the hand dyed silk fabric and blended stripes on this dress. Doesn't silk look so romantic and peaceful when it's hand dyed?  Dig. It.

Happy Thursday dolls!
