surface on all the things I need to get! I swear I could have had a BA

in procrastination. Its ridic!

You know that point when you feel like you have nothing to wear and you are in a rut? Well

I've officially reached that point. A lot could have to do with the fact that half of my wardrobe is

in storage while we renovate the house. BUT, I decided to work with what I had and shop my own

closet! I pulled out my beloved flares that I've had for eons, my basic black button up and one of my favorite old blazers. Every item I'm wearing is 3+ years old, proving that you can shop in your closet

and repurpose old pieces. 

I mean….you really can never go wrong with a great pair of flares and a chic blazer, right?!

For those who celebrated Thanksgiving, did we all survive the holiday weekend?

For the first time since I can remember, I did not go black Friday shopping and chose to

stay in my PJ's and shop from the comfort of my couch! Honestly, it was actually nice

to not have to deal with the crowds and/or have to get dressed ;).

Slowly but surely transitioning and incorporating some fall pieces!

This vest was the first actual "Fall" piece I bought and I have a feeling

it will become a major staple for the fall/winter months. And for the record,

although I don't abide by the whole no white after Labor Day rule, this was in 

fact taken last week!

A good piece of clothing is like a good song, you wear it or listen
to it incessantly until you get sick of it! So…I may or may not have
worn this bodysuit 2 nights in a row, and you might have seen it on my
instagram (here) paired with shorts! So I guess its safe to say it's a
winner.

On another note, for all you short and petite peeps out there who are afraid
to jump into the culotte trend, I'm here to tell you that you can do it! I'm all
of 5'1 on a good day, so I don't usually gravitate towards this length because
it tends to cut my legs off. But pairing them with a pointy toed stiletto, really helps
give the illusion of a longer leg. SCORE.

Leopard + My SB Guide

Last week I headed to Santa Barbara for a day of fun and relaxing with my fam!

I ordered this tee on sale, cause I'm so obsessed with the brand's cotton and fit…not being paid to say that, its the truf! So I kept it casual in leopard,  one my most favorite pairs of bf jeans and some chucks. 

Easy and simple. 

Hands down, Santa Barbara is one of my most favorite places. I swear every time I go there it makes me want to find a cute bungalow and move there! For now, I can say #retirementgoals and since it's only 45 minutes away from me I visit VERY often! Here are some of my favorite haunts...

SB Public Market

This is a must stop for us every trip we make to SB. A fun open market with tons of good eats! Empty Bowl Noodle is a MUST try. The pad thai is seriously the best ever. 

Arigato Sushi

A delicious sushi spot right on State Street. The Ginger Yellowfin Tuna and Zippy roll are 2 of my faves!

Diani Boutique

Has everything from Isabel Marant to Rag & Bone to Chloe. Basically a fashionistas dream.

Botanik

This is actually in the town of Summerland which is just a short drive from SB. It has everything from garden to home to design. Pillows, succulents, dinnerware you name it! It is such a little hidden gem. 

The Honor Bar

This is a great addition to Montecito. Menu is small but the food is delish! Try the burger or the Tahi Noodle salad.

Pretty much cannot get enough of this fringe cross body! I've literally

worn it everyday since I got it and I'm not mad about it either. It gave the

absolute perfect amount of boho to this getup. Speaking of this getup, 

I haven't worn a bodysuit (it's practically a freaking leotard) since my ballet

 days! Trip. out.

High Tide

I know it is now Tuesday and I should have my shit together BUT,

I'm still recovering from the holiday weekend of fun. I don't snap back quite the 

way I used too! To add to it, when you are a parent staying up past 11 is never a 

good idea. Those early mornings come out of no where and they bite real hard!

In other news, this is one of my favorite dresses. This print is sold out but it comes

in so many other awesome solids and prints! And yes, since I now have to shop in

the training bra section post child, this deep V is not a problem on this side of the fence.

BUT, if you are blessed in the chest (lucky!), there is plenty of room to pin or use 

double stick tape for fear of flashing your jubilees to the world. Or if you are a fan of

public flashing….by all means let it hang!
