I have literally worn jeans everyday for god knows how long and it felt so nice 

to throw on a midi skirt and a pair of heels. And how good is this buffalo check?!

Another thing I should mention is that I love wearing bodysuits with skirts or jeans.

I find them to be sexy, understated and super comfortable…also perfect with high 

waist bottoms!

 It finally felt like Fall around here and I was so happy to have a chunky

knit and leather pants on! It's the little things that make us happy, isn't it? 

Speaking of little things, this funnel neck sweater is a must buy for Fall.

And for less than $25 how can you go wrong?!

Slowly but surely transitioning and incorporating some fall pieces!

This vest was the first actual "Fall" piece I bought and I have a feeling

it will become a major staple for the fall/winter months. And for the record,

although I don't abide by the whole no white after Labor Day rule, this was in 

fact taken last week!

A good piece of clothing is like a good song, you wear it or listen
to it incessantly until you get sick of it! So…I may or may not have
worn this bodysuit 2 nights in a row, and you might have seen it on my
instagram (here) paired with shorts! So I guess its safe to say it's a
winner.

On another note, for all you short and petite peeps out there who are afraid
to jump into the culotte trend, I'm here to tell you that you can do it! I'm all
of 5'1 on a good day, so I don't usually gravitate towards this length because
it tends to cut my legs off. But pairing them with a pointy toed stiletto, really helps
give the illusion of a longer leg. SCORE.

There's something about daylight savings in the spring that gets me so excited for the upcoming months. The days are longer, warmer and just feel different! We had some UNBELIEVABLY gorgeous weather this weekend and pulling out these white jeans for a date night just made sense, not to mention they fit so amazing.  These are my 2nd pair of DL's and I am in love!

Side-note: If you are short like me (i'm 5'1 on a good day), then I totally suggest buying your denim cropped! They eliminate any sort of alterations and if you are on the shorter side they will hit you right where you want them too!

These days finding time to get everything done is definitely not as easy as it used to be. I often hear people say that bloggers always look "put together" and look like they have glamorous lives. Operative words: "LOOK LIKE." There are days when work I planned to get done doesn't happen, a shower becomes a luxury, my hair looks homeless, lunch means shoveling food in my mouth before my kid wakes up, working until all hours of the night, a house that looks like a tornado just passed thru and a laundry list of deadlines that need to be met. The struggle to balance work life, mom life, and everything in between is a skill I have not yet mastered. So, those weeks where the days don't go as planned or the blog doesn't get updated have really taught me not to let the guilt consume me and just LET GO LET FLOW. There are so many moments to cherish that always happen when you least expect them and ever since I became a mom I've learned to love those moments!
How you like that word vomit?! :)

Now on to this outfit! I'm no stranger to denim on denim, so I'm sure this look is not surprising. I love adding a blazer to a look for some extra pizazz and sophistication and you can truly never go wrong with a pair of pointy toed pumps!
