Before you get crazy and say "why the hell is she wearing all black in

this heat?! " let it be known that this was taken before it got ass hot! 

Aside from the occasional colorful print here and there, I normally have

an aversion to color if you haven't figured that out already. My closet

mostly consists of black, grey and white, so it's no surprise that I'm

a huge fan of wearing one of those colors head to toe!

Yesterday was a casual day of running around with my little man!

It was cold in the morning so I bundled in a cozy sweater and my 

fave leather pants. BUT, we are in CA and by noon I was sweating

balls…thank god I wore a tshirt under my sweater! 

(For those of you reading this cursing at me cause you are freezing

your ass off, i'm sorry….kinda).

Wore this over the weekend and just love this

tuxedo vest! Can't wait to wear it as a dress with 

a bandeau underneath after the babe arrives. It was 

the perfect date night outfit and definitely made me feel

like a version of old myself :).

Nothing like a little crocheted lace for a date night out on the town!
I love the intricate and delicate look of crochet where it shows a hint of
skin but not too much…..Sexy yet tasteful. Or at least that was the look I
was going for!

Feeling very Easter-y in this get up!

Loving this cerulean (name the movie) hued

skirt and it's tulip shape. Skirts are definitely one of those

pieces that I don't tend to gravitate towards when I 

am shopping around, but every time I wear one I'm 

reminded of how much I enjoy wearing them!

Yesterday was a long day of running around to meetings

and such, so comfort was necessary. 2 things I must note:

 This shirt is a new fave and I haven't taken this necklace off in 3 days!

here in Cali, it was just chilly enough for me to pull
out Grandma's fur stole. I love any excuse to don that thing!
Dontcha just love how a little fur can totally chic-ify an outfit?
Grandma knew what was up!

Warmer Days

I could be the only crazy who feels this way but when it's
warm and sunny out so is my mood! Clearly I was in a
good mood on this day...so good I wanted to go out in my
bikini! But don't worry, I refrained. I settled for bare legs
and arms. Just as good.

It's what I'm feeling right now. 

I must say that in my younger years I would have never 

worn this color combo, BUT the older polished me 

absolutely loves it!

The holiday parties are officially in full swing!
We headed out over the weekend to our friends's
soiree and I pulled out the old cosmic velvet blazer.
