flirty. I'm telling you it's a necessity! Nothing like throwing

on a little skirt and having it put a little extra pep in your step.

On another note, this leather jacket has been worn to 

death and is still among one of my most favorites! I mean,

how can you go wrong for under $100? Can't.

I paired it with my booties cause they were feeling
a bit neglected on the shelf and they needed some love!

a mixed print story! Revisiting that post makes me want

to redo that look again...LOVED the dots and stripes

together!

Yesterday was a long day of running around to meetings

 This shirt is a new fave and I haven't taken this necklace off in 3 days!

Frisky Friday!

The weather reached the 70's yesterday and it certainly got me 

to branch out from my jeans and sweater routine (probably not for long).

 But bare legs and arms felt very freeeeeeee....

On another note, every time I look at these pics and see my 

colored bra I think of Maid in Manhattan. Yes, that's what I said.

"Besides, that whole see-through blouse, colored-bra thing... 

reads a little, you know, desperate, older gal, trying too hard. Don't you think?"

Yes I did just quote a line from that movie and you know you've watched that

shit before too! Don't judge.

I love dressing up as much as the next chick but 

at my core I'm a jeans and t-shirt gal all the way. 

I mean...dressing up denim is part of the fun, right?!

I wasn't really feeling like wearing skinnies or anything

tight, so I opted for a loose and baggy pair of distressed

boyfriend jeans to go along with my grandma's fur stole. 

It proved to be a wise choice since right after this, my evening 

consisted of an eating marathon. I ate enough 7-layer dip 

to feed a small country....don't judge (that shizz was so good :).

Oh and one more thing....how wicked are those spidey web 

zippers on ma boots?! Love!

A Gray of Sunshine

There is something so stunning about yellow paired with shades of gray, silver, and black.....it just flows, you knows? (Total unintentional rhyming incident, kinda). And these are definitely some stand out pieces in that color spectrum for me.

Aside from my long standing obsession and admiration for Clare Vivier, I have become completely enamored with all things Charlotte Olympia. Now, I have clearly established my relationship status with shoes and at this point I am ready to ask for her hand in marriage. Wait, is that weird? Anywhoots, I need to have some form of CO in my vault stat!
There is only one thing left to say....Ms. Charlotte Dellal, you are a shoe goddess!
