Buttoned Up

Top: H&M  //  Pants: J Brand  //  Heels: Zara  //  Clutch: Suemi  //  Sunnies: Celine  //  Shoe Clip Worn as Brooch: Vintage

I know I carry on about my vintage shoe clip obsession
but I just love incorporating them in my outfits! This one I
attached to a silver chain so it fit just perfectly under the collar.
But this is definitely not my first time using them as neck
adornments...check out the other looks here, here, and here!

On another note, every time I wear these coated jeans I'm
reminded how much I LOVE them. Must wear more.

Striped Trouser

Vest: Trina Turk (similar here and here), Tank: Truly Madly Deeply, Pants: Asos, Heels: Giambattista Valli, Clutch: Suemi, Sunnies: Ray Ban

Much like the rest of the country the weather here has been so
odd...hot, cold, muggy, gloomy. It can't make up its mind! So
needless to say it was the perfect day for me to break out my new
trousers to keep my legs covered, and my vest to keep my arms free!
I've given in to Mother Nature and her weather woes.

Enough about her, I can't say enough about these loose fitting trouser style pants...
they have quickly become one of my favorite styles as of late. Just like in this post!

What about you guys, are you digging this style of pant?

Happy weekend to you!

I don't think I will ever tire of leopard and leather paired together.
Just easy, simple, chic and edgy all wrapped up in one!

shorter nights. My favorite time of year!

Distressed

Sweater: Topshop, Shirt: Club Monaco, Jeans: Machine (these are next on my list!), Boots: Charlotte Olympia, Belt: Suemi, Bag: Zara, Sunnies: Ray Ban, Necklace: BaubleBar, Fur Stole: Vintage

I love dressing up as much as the next chick but
at my core I'm a jeans and t-shirt gal all the way.
I mean...dressing up denim is part of the fun, right?!
I wasn't really feeling like wearing skinnies or anything
tight, so I opted for a loose and baggy pair of distressed
boyfriend jeans to go along with my grandma's fur stole.
It proved to be a wise choice since right after this, my evening
consisted of an eating marathon. I ate enough 7-layer dip
to feed a small country....don't judge (that shizz was so good :).

Oh and one more thing....how wicked are those spidey web
zippers on ma boots?! Love!

Sweater Woobie

Sweater: gifted Element Eden, Top: American Apparel, Shorts: Forever 21, Tights: Wolford, Booties: Gucci, Clutch: Suemi Designs, Necklace: Shop Frankie's

I know I've mentioned this before but I am a serious hoarder collector
of cardigans and sweaters that feel like a blanket or woobie.
There really is nothing better than a cozy sweater!
Nonetheless, the mere sight of this sweater woobie (use that in a sentence today
had me VERY excited. I may or may not have worn it all weekend long.
don't judge.

On another note, the batteries on these booties were in
some serious need of recharging so I took them out for
a spin and a little date night with the hubs!

How was your weekend?

Black + Blue

Blazer: Zara, Shirt: Equipment, Jeans: Blank NYC (similar here), Boots: Bottega Veneta, Bag: Botkier, Sunnies: Celine, Belt: Suemi, Necklace: BaubleBar

There is really nothing like a classic blazer to make you feel
put together and ready to go! I bought this blazer a couple
of seasons ago and I could literally wear it EVERYday.

On another note, can you believe the holidays are so soon?
I must admit I did buy my first gift over the weekend...getting
an early start! What about you guys?
Do you start early or wait unit the last minute?
Do tell!

xoxo,
Nicole
