 So you definitely weren't trippin' if you noticed that I've

been wearing things that weren't exactly tight around the mid section. 

Apparently I thought it would be "easy" to conceal a bump for the first 4 months

but my belly grew a lot faster (and bigger) than I thought it would! I have dodged 

emails and texts asking me if there was a reason I was wearing looser clothing…and

here I thought I was being sly and not obvious! I guess my lack of poker face and 

belly have something in common :). 

SO much has changed in the 4 years since I've had this blog....
 I got married. I grew up in a lot of ways.  I've learned that going at my own pace works best.
I learned how to manage copious amounts of anxiety and fear (a feat in itself).
And most importantlyI learned a shit ton of things about myself along the way.

It's been an honor to have you all follow
along with me these past 4 years....I am so humbled and grateful.
I hope you will continue to follow along as I enter this new chapter and
expand (in more ways than one) my world!

Side note: I first started the wall by mapping everything out and measuring each 

frame perfectly. But honestly, it just made it more complicated. The wall came out so 

much better when I just flew by the seat of my pants! Sometimes you just gotta go for it :)

Yesterday was hot as hell and clothes really weren't

sounding super appealing! Being that going sans 

clothing isn't really socially acceptable or legal for that 

matter I settled for a light and airy dress! Love the low
back on it too :).

Saturday we spent an amazing day with friends by the ocean and 

clearly my the looks of my wild mane it was a nice breezy day!

 absolutely horrid view. ha! Nothing better than good friends,

 good food and a great view....oh and The Governor.

I have to say this dress is so comfy and flowy it will 

definitely be a fave to throw on for summer. I'm all

about things that are easy and comfortable!

In other news...

My 8 yr. old nephew and I were spending the afternoon together this 

week and he asked if he could give my camera a try. I've let him take one here 

and there but I figured, why the hell not?! The kid has to have fun sometimes! 

(yeah right, my middle name is fun. ha!)

So, there we were taking photos and laughing hysterically because he was 

pretending to be a professional photographer. Little did I know the kid's got mad skills.

It was honestly a moment to remember and just made me think about how fun and 

innocent you are at that age. He had no fears or inhibitions about trying something 

new and owning it. If only we could go back just a tad and remember to let go of all the 

fear that stands in our way. What a lesson to learn thru an 8 year old's eyes.

Basic Cotton

Headed out for a day of running errands yesterday. The weather
was amazing, warm and I just wanted to be low key and comfy.
I love having a few soft cotton dresses to pull from when I don't
feel like wearing anything else. They're just easy to throw on and
I still manage to feel put together with absolutely no effort at all!

I don't usually rock earrings (although I'm finding my love for them again),
but my 8 year old neph picked these out all by himself for me!
How could I not wear them?! He melts my heart!

lovely ladies at BaubleBar, I knew I could use more than one pair at a time.

Enter sad and lonely chambray collar who found himself some hot and sparkly

ladies to hang out with....what a freakin' stud! (pun shamelessy intended)

Dual purpose. Double the fun. A 2fer.
