So I talk about my love for cozy sweaters on the regular

but guys,  this one is like SOOOO cozy. And who doesn't

 like a little faux leather on their sleeves?! I certainly do. 

On another note, beanies during Fall are my dirty hair 

saviors. Nothing like throwing something over your mop

and still managing to look put together. Just an all around

WIN.

We spent this past weekend in Santa Barbara for

a fun wedding weekend at one of my new fave hotels...

The weather was seriously what dreams are made of.

No, for reals. I couldn't believe it how amazing it was!

We snapped these right outside our room to head out for 

the night and I wanted to be comfy but still chic! I of 

course opted for my favorite pair of jeans (the only 

pair of jeans I currently have in rotation right now)

and a great blazer and a perfect pair of booties!

Last week was definitely a week to get back into the

swing of things and prepare to start the year off. It's always

so odd when holiday's fall in the middle of a week, isn't it?!

Yesterday we celebrated my mom's birthday and my 

parent's 40th wedding anniversary and since we are a pretty

causal bunch we kept it chill and had a great day spending

time together! So grateful for my wild and crazy family!

Annnnd the Christmas countdown is on and I'm not done
with my shopping. If procrastination was a major in college
I would have graduated with honors. #lastminuteshopper

When I get dressed in the mornings and I'm freezing my ass off I tend to pile on the layers to keep warm and the day these pics were shot was no exception!
My A. Wang jacket has become my go to 'woobie' (no really, I think I've worn it everyday this week. Don't judge) and throwing the faux fur vest over it was the perfect addition to spice things up a little. And don't forget a splash of leopard for the win...sa-weeeet!

Definitely inspired by Alexander Wang's Fall 2011 collection with this all black getup.

I scooped this jacket up at Neiman's a couple weeks ago and wasn't 100% sure 

I was going to keep it...I mean, how many black leather jacket's does one need?! 

But, the unique cut, velvet lapels, and buttery soft leather ultimately won this girl over.

Fall can't come soon enough!
