Casual Tweed

Jacket: Zara, Tee: Zara, Jeans: Vigoss (love these!), Shoes: Giuseppe Zanotti, Bag: Chanel, Necklace: Natalie B, Sunnies: Celine, Scarf: m0851

Last week was definitely a week to get back into the
swing of things and prepare to start the year off. It's always
so odd when holiday's fall in the middle of a week, isn't it?!

Yesterday we celebrated my mom's birthday and my
parent's 40th wedding anniversary and since we are a pretty
causal bunch we kept it chill and had a great day spending
time together! So grateful for my wild and crazy family!

Burgundy Love

Dress: H&M, Shoes: Giambattista Valli, Shoe Clips: Vintage, Necklace: Natalie B., Clutch: Rodo, Sunnies: Ray Ban

I may or may not have done some serious
damage at H&M a couple weeks ago and this
was just one of 3 burgundy pieces that I scooped up!
I'm a sucker for a good peter pan collar, but a leather one?
Fuh. get. about. it.

Double Stripe

Sweater: Zara, Shirt: Saint Grace, Jeans: Blank NYC (similar here), Bag: Alexander Wang, Necklace: Natalie B, Sunnies: Ray Ban, Booties: Giuseppe Zanotti

Despite the "beach weather" we were having last week, it has actually gotten quite chilly over here in the West.
In fact I think it's actually warmer on the east coast right now! The cooler weather was the perfect time for me to get cozy in my new favorite striped top...officially one of the comfiest things I have worn as of late. Already stalking my next victims....this, and this.

Vintage Fur

Sweater & Fur Collar: Grandma's, Top: Club Monaco, Pants: Shop Frankie's, Necklace: Natalie B.
Clutch: Deux Lux, Sunnies: Oliver Peoples

I have been into all things fur as of late and I always get excited when I can pull out my Grandma's fur sweater. She got this sweater with a removable fur collar in the 1940's and it's still perfectly in tact....the craftsmanship and detailing on the inside is like no other. Pure amazingness.
It was just what these printed pants and bright top needed!

Cute Style. Bad Name.

Dress: Urban Outfitters (similar), Shoes: Bottega Veneta, Belt: H&M, Bag: LV, Necklace Natalie B. (similar)

I have had this dress for at least 4 years and it still remains on regular rotation...so easy to just throw on, stick a belt over and go. I especially love how my Bottega booties go so perfect with it!

But let's get down to the serious stuff. Love the dress. Hate the name. Why must we call this style a pussybow?
I know the name has been tossed around the fashion world for eons, but really? I feel like a five year old every time I have to mutter the very word! So filthy and yet oh so sweet.
