Craving: Edgy Fall Pieces

I know, I know.  It's kinda sick that this is happening right now. 

But it IS August already...which means Fall is right around the corner!

Holy. GASP.

Fall is undeniably my most favorite season, so naturally I have already

started scouring the web for my favorite pieces and these Helmut Lang leather 

leggings have definitely been at the top of my wish list! 

One of my "go to" fall outfits is to 

pair an edgy leather jacket with a tee, a fierce pair of heels and a hat. 

Easy breezy. 

Also, throwing on a beanie to conceal those bed head or

frizzy hair days is probably the tool I utilize most! No one wants

to walk out of the house with a crazy looking dome piece. Just sayin.

Boating

Yesterday we headed out for an early evening boat ride and it was

such a perfect way to end the day! It's get's a little breezy in the afternoon

so I grabbed my trusty ON jacket which has been my trusty "go-to"

for the last 10 years...don't you just love having timeless pieces

in your closet? I do. Fo shizzle.

P.S. I know I said this last month, but how in the helllllll is it

August already?? Son of a Nutcracker....time is going WAY too fast!

Spent a day of lunching, laughing, and lounging with Mom yesterday!

Oh and we were GLUED to the Olympics. Is anyone else completely

freaking amazed by synchronized diving?! Makes me want

to put some serious time into the pool! Ha...who am I kidding?

That requires at least an ounce of aquatic talent. 

Sooooo.....I guess I'm out! #agirlcandream

Fringe Shimmy

Last week when I was on vacay I scooped up this fringe

number from the Zara sale. It was love at first shimmy!

Of course I had to test out the fringe factor in the dressing room.

You know you all do that too... err, ok maybe not but you kinda want to try

it now, don't you?! 

 I had serious vacation frizz happening and I needed to conceal my dome piece.

Soooo.... I got my doo-rag on with a vintage silk scarf that I had packed in my suitcase!

Success.
