Took my niece and nephew out for the day on Saturday

and put on my "go to" casual outfit. Can never go wrong 

in a denim vest and some Chucks!

It's obvious that I'm wearing this spring-y dress in January
because of the weather...so no need to go on about that!

I've had this western-esque denim shirt for a bit and have
yet to wear it, but once I slipped on this dress it was the
perfect addition! And naturally, the hair was not cooperating
so I opted for the ever popular side braid.
I'm so Pinterest.

Spotted this dress on my sis-n-law a couple weeks ago 

and had to grab one for myself! So soft, so cozy and will

take me all the way through the Summer!

The other thing I haven't been able to take off?

Denim Vest. Definitely my favorite thing to throw

on as of late.

The sun came out to play for most of the afternoon on Saturday
which called for some bare legs...it has been unseasonable chilly for this time of year!
Needless to say I'm more than ready for summer, beach, sun and fun.
Bring. It. On.
On another note, how radical is this letterman jacket?! Was the perfect companion
to my fun and casual get up!

I've had this skirt for quite sometime and this is only the 2nd time I've ever worn it. Just one of those pieces that never seems to jive with anything I pair with it, hence the lack of usage.

But, I'm a huge fan of taking twirly girly pieces and giving them an edge.

I threw on this StyleMint tee (saying was perfect for my mood obvi), leather jacket,  

my Theyskens and voila!

This lonely skirt was dancing a whole new jig.
