Trenched

Necklace & Trench: F21, Tee: Splendid, Jeans: Edun, Heels: Prada, Bag: Alex Wang (similar black), Watch: Gucci

After 2 months of looking at this sleeveless trench hanging in my closet (and on the blogosphere) I have finally put it to good use! It was the perfect choice to pair with this soft Splendid tee and comfy pair of jeans.
On a side note, this will probably be the last time I ever purchase a light colored leather bag....they get so filthy! Who has good tips on how/what to clean it with?!

Happy Weekend!
Nicole

Girl, I need that trench! Love it!
I would take the purse to your local shoe guy, she might be able to recommend how to clean it or at least send you to the right person. I've only got one light colored bag and I hate that it gets dirty so quickly. My shoe guy always takes care of it for me.

I have the same F21 necklace and I adore it on you! The trench is quite a beauty, too.

I thought about getting that trench vest, but went for a more casual one. You definitely make me think I still need the trench vest. This was a perfect styling choice for it.

You might want to put some leather protector on your bag. I've never used it before because I don't have a ton of light bags, but have heard about it being used. You should check out the Alexander Wang Forum on the Purse Forum to see if anyone else has suggestions for you.

Love the trench..take the bag to the Dry Cleaners..they can probably clean it good. I did this for my leather shoes.

oh man...that's the reason i didn't buy my wang in that color. it's freaking gorgeous, but i knew i'd tarnish it immediately with dark denim, makeup, life, etc. it's gorgeous though! as for the rest of the outfit- love it! classic!

Love that sleeveless trench on you!!! I'm so weary of light colored bags too - the best thing I've tried is leather cleaner called Cadillac purchased at a shoe repair/leather care shop and recommended by the Chanel boutique. It's kind of a cleaner/conditioner in one I think. Hope that helps!

Great look! The sleeveless trench is one of my fav trends this season. Xx

I made the mistake of buying a cream colored Linea Pelle shoulder bag. I wore a dark top the first time I used the bag and it instantly got dirty. Never again for me too! BTW- you paired the trench perfectly! TGIF! www.casualglamorous.com

I've decided that I'm going to go into F21 for the first time in 10 years to peruse what the racks have to offer. I hold you completely responsible. You and the trench.

I love this take on the trench! I actually don't think I've ever seen one without sleeves, and I love the look!

I love the sleeveless trench, I think it is really interesting! As for your bag, head to your shoe guy for a cleaning and then spray a leather protector spray on your bag and left it dry for at least a day. I try to steer myself away from light bags bc they are so high-maintenance!

Oh I love the idea of a sleeveless trench. On the bag front, I can't help you, with little boys a light coloured bag has to remain a wish list for a little while!

3 things:
1. I can't believe this trench is from F21 - never would have thought.
2. This shade of red is amazing on you!
3. I used to have a white bag and it was soo hard to keep clean. I don't think I could get a really light colored bag again. sad.

I really wanted a sleeveless trench this S/S 11 but alas I couldn't bring myself to buy one. But I love it on you, and the necklace really stands out.
