Turban Love + Oscar's

S/S 2011 Milly, Issa, Vena Cava
If you haven't noticed I have developed quite the affinity for turbans as of late...I donned a velvet one earlier in the week as you saw here. And I must say, I was a bit hesitant to try one at first not knowing how my dome piece would look all covered up. But the moment I put it on (cue the choir) it was an instant love affair. Now I have a strange feeling that it's going to become a staple in my wardrobe as I jump into Spring!

On another note, I was invited to attend the Kari Feinstein Oscar Style Lounge yesterday and I had an absolute blast! I was able to preview the Laundry by Shelli Segal and C&C Spring 2011 lines, received an amazing Silpada necklace that will for sure be making an appearance soon, previewed some pictures of the jewelry that was designed for Katy Perry's tour by the unbelievably talented Veronique, learned all about the USANA brand and was gifted the yummiest coziest sweatshirt from Vintage Havana. A huge thank you to the FMPR team for showing me a fab time!

Have a great weekend! xo

These turbans look fantastic!

I love the turban look. I have one at home and am hesitant to wear it though. I need to just do it, like ripping off a band-aid. I'm the same way with hats. It takes me a while to get the nerve to wear one and then I love it and can't take it off. The event sounds fantastic! How fun! Have a great weekend.

I like the turbans, but I don't know if it's for me.
You look amazing in that photo.

Sounds like you had a blast! I'm not so sure about the turban look. I think it looks great for people who have the style to pull it off but I'm not that bold! So I'll just admire it from afar :)

Have a great weekend!

Lucky you!
Yes, I was aware of your love for turbans!
Although, I do like the idea of a turban, I don't quite have the guts to rock one! :)

Glad you had tons of fun! Turbans look so great on the runway, but it can be hard to pull off in real life. These women did it so well though!

First of all, it sounds like it was an amazing event! Can't wait to see your swag in future posts! Also, you can totally rock a turban like a pro, so I hope you are wearing one all summer-- I want to wear one, but I am too nervous, so I will look forward to your styling tips!

I can't wait to try the turban trend...waiting for spring...wanting to try a nice floral or something light...had my eyes on a scarf from Zazou (great brand by the way) that they tied as a turban for their spring ad campaign...hoping to purchase soon:)
Looks like you had soooo much fun and you look great in front of a step and repeat girl:)

I've never worn a turban, but I'm thinking a bright colorful one might be the perfect fix for the beach when I vacay in Miami the first week of April!

I'm mad for turbans. I can't wear them though - it just looks wrong on me - so I admire them from afar!
