Mrs.

Many of you new readers may not know that I recently got married (is 5 months still recent?) to the absolute love of my life and I have yet to do a wedding post! After some serious lagging and a little nudging from Taylor (she knows my secrets!) I figured it was about that time!

We had an absolute dreamy wedding with all of the things we wanted....In-N-Out truck (yahoo!), The Fry Girl (who doesn't like mini donuts?), a delish candy bar, fab hair By Sherri Belanger, gorgeous flowers thanks to 'The Bashful Rose', friends, family, and some serious get down boogie town music and dancing ALL night long!
Best. Night. Ever.

The Dress: I looked and looked for dresses at every store known to man kind and didn't find anything I truly loved or anything that was different enough. When you are short sometimes those beautiful a-line gowns swallow you up and make you look like a giant ball of tulle (not attractive).  So, there I was vintage shopping with my mom one day minding my own bizzzz and BAM (cue the choir)...I found a vintage Mary McFadden gown (with her ever famous fortuny pleats) that had my name written ALL over it. Period. End of story. My search was complete!
The Husband's outfit: Hugo Boss Suit, Shirt & Tie, Louis Vuitton Belt, Calvin Klein Shoes.
Me: Vintage Mary McFadden Couture Gown, Marni Heels, Vintage Shoe Clips, Diamond & Emerald Chandelier earrings (gift from my amazing parents)
My Grandma's rosary's adorned my bouquet...

The End...

I love these pictures! It all came together so well- it looks like it was a great time! I am totally going to keep the In N Out truck in mind- genius!! And your dress is perfection- unique (but not crazy in a Bjork/swan way). I am glad you shared these!

Beautiful photos and I ADORE the dress! Those pleats are amazing!

I'm going vintage for my upcoming wedding too. I bought a 50's gown and am having the top totally over hauled, but keeping the original skirt.
