Frankalicious Six

Delicious pumps. High Tea at the Four Seasons. Strolling in my fave F21 jacket. Grammy's garnet ring.

I realized two things after looking at my shoes last night...BLACK and GREY. Can we say creature of habit? I tend to stick to more "practical" (black and grey) colors that can go with most anything but I think it's time I inject a little color into my shoe life! Sheesh.

Do you find yourself gravitating towards the same things over and over again?

i do- particularly when it comes to shoes. my high-end collection isn't as glamorous as yours. but the few pairs i do own are all black in some way shape or form. and my mid pricers are mostly black or grey. i can't help it!

I have about 5 black dresses that are either empire waist or a-line. So, yes, I tend to gravitate toward similar things that I know work for me and will get a good amount of use. I've started gravitating toward everything out of the ordinary, lately, though. I like it better this way!

Omg Nicole love everything about this post! Tea sammies and shoes!

I'm seriously drooling over you YSL mary Jane pumps so freakin' cute!

I'm just like you I tend to be very safe especially with investment pieces but all the recent bright colors and color blocking trend makes me feel like I need to run out and do a complete closet overhaul in color!

You can say that again. I do it all the time!!! I lean a lot more towards the greys and black, but tried to mix some neutrals and warm colors once in awhile.

Love your jacket. Goes great with the dress.

Yes we humans tend to gravitate towards that thing or place where we find comfort. It sometimes is exciting to shake it up a little and go off course.
Great shoe collection you've got.

Your shoes rock! And watch out, or you'll end-up like me: deciding you need a colorful pair of shoes and then coming home with bright blue pumps with sparkly bows! (I stand by my argument that the sparkles blinded me and thus I was forced to purchase them because I couldn't see until they were safely away from light in a shopping bag)
