Necktie Love..

(Thank you Mr. Sunshine for making me look like I have a tan but next time a little less on the orange...many thanks! :)
Top: Saks 5/48, Skirt: Asos, Belt: UO, Shoes: Pour La Victoire, Bag: Alexander Wang, Neck tie: Asos (belt from skirt), Pin: Vintage, Ring: Marc by Marc Jacobs, Sunnies: Michael Kors, Watch: Gucci

There are times when getting crafty and using what I have really works in my favor...Enter: Necktie. This little diddy was actually the belt that came on my paper bag skirt. So without trying to be a total bore and to shake things up a little (I'm a real party animal), I whipped out my vintage bow pin and...voila! Turned out to be my favorite and fastest DIY to date and you best believe there will be a repeat performance of that bad boy. Don't you just love when that happens?! Ahhh, it's the little things that make me want to click those heels of mine! xo

And a HUGE thank you to MTV Style for choosing me as one of the 'Looks of the Week'!

I am really happy the high waisted look is coming back, love the skirt.

The DIY necktie came out beautifully. Great way to use items you would normally just toss.

Great idea (totally stealing that).

Also, I wish I was orange. Instead I'm practically gray I'm so pale. Ugh.
