Style Resolution

Merona Sweater via Target  //  Blank NYC Denim  //  Louboutin Heels  // BaubleBar Chain

Next up for my partnership with Target I'm talking about style resolutions. Now, usually I don't like to call them "resolutions" because most of the time I end up breaking them after a couple of months! So instead of setting myself up, I just put my intentions out of what I would like to add, remove, do better, etc and that way I have an easier time without pressuring myself! You all know what I mean, don't you?

For the most part, my style has really evolved over the years as I have gotten more comfortable with myself and with who I am.  There is something to be said about being confident in your own skin and with your style. That being said, there is one thing that I really need to step up and try and add into my life. What's that you ask? COLOR. If you know me, you know that black, grey and white are my favorite colors. I tend to gravitate to those colors about 98% of the time. Occasionally I'll add in some neutrals like beiges or blush tones, but that is really the extent of it! So for this challenge, I am setting a goal, resolution, intention, commitment (or whatever you like to call them) to add and experiment with more color into my style!

So let this outfit be the start of many colorful posts to come!

Now, what are some of your style resolutions?

I recently went back to black, and have evolved my style to be more lady like classic, after trying a bunch of different styles which were not true to me. As a blogger myself it has all been lived out on my blog, which is a lot of pressure, and I am not even a fashion blogger! I am sure I am seen as fickle at best lol!!
My resolution is to upgrade and stop having so much disposable fashion, and to know I am worth it. To find a way to look fashionable while on daily walks, even during the summer months, and to put back in pops of color ...but just pops.

Character is the ability to carry out a good resolution long after the excitement of the moment has passed. See the link below for more info.
