I can definitely say that I had a year of 

trying new outfits, stepping out of the box and 

always managing to have a good time while doing so!

I combed thru the blog and picked 12 of my fave and

most memorable outfits from this past year.

Pumped Up Kicks

Soooo...the day after Christmas the hubs and I 

put on our power suits (obvi) and braved the mall!

 Since I wanted to get in, get my sh*t done and get out, my sneaks

and puffer vest were comfy and easy to cruise around in. 

Plus, I wanted to be prepared...people get real serious about their

parking spots, fo realz!

So what are your New Year's Eve plans?

Are you heading for a fancy night out or are you having casual night in?

For the past few years the hubs and I have gone for the casual route opting to

stay in and celebrate the new year with our friends! We cook a delish meal, 

drink bottomless champers and play games! Can't think of a more

relaxed and fun way to ring in the new year.

gifts out there! And as if you couldn't tell, I'm having a love affair with gold accents 

as of late and I am absolutely loving these water glasses and coasters!

freaking deal! I mean..........major.

It's the weekend! I thought it would never arrive....
We're off to a couple holiday parties this weekend,
and I still have to get some holiday shopping

There's nothing like a classic striped button up paired
with a great fitting pair of jeans.
It just doesn't get any better!
I know ultra flared denim isn't for everyone,
but these are definitely one of my most favorite pairs.
 In the past when I've worn these (see here and here),
some of you have said that you are too short to wear pants like this!
Well....... here's a little secret. I'm only 5'1 (on a good day) guys!

 Heading out to run errands over the gloomy weekend

had me gravitating towards black and white. (big surprise, right?!)

And honestly, why is spandex so freaking comfortable?!

Now I get why people wear their workout clothes 

everyday. I mean let's not get carried away, that won't

be happening but I have a new understanding and love for spandex.

I know I've mentioned this before but I am a serious hoarder collector

of cardigans and sweaters that feel like a blanket or woobie.
There really is nothing better than a cozy sweater!

Nonetheless, the mere sight of this sweater woobie (use that in a sentence today) 

had me VERY excited. I may or may not have worn it all weekend long.

On another note, the batteries on these booties were in 

some serious need of recharging so I took them out for

a spin and a little date night with the hubs!
